“My husband and I recently had dinner at the hotel's restaurant while celebrating our anniversary. He enjoyed the Gurnard fish and chips while I opted for the salmon. Both dishes were beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. The portion sizes were generous, and we were pleased with the reasonable pricing, especially with a glass of wine each. I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location was decent, being close to town, but it was quite noisy from the main road. The rooms felt outdated and could use some refreshing. On the plus side, the staff was friendly and the service was prompt. Overall, it was an average stay, not bad but not ideal either.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was excellent, just across the road from the lake, but it did get a bit noisy at times. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, which made the experience much better. However, I was disappointed with the room's condition and the dining options, which could use some improvement.
